i thought that too, but i did see someone on pirate talking about "front engine moon buggies"... dunno if they were talking out their arse, or moonbuggy just means small single seater?
Traditionally moon buggies are normally non symetrical. So if sombody says something is a moon buggy it would probably be a non symmetric, single seat sitting on the belly plate, rear engined buggy.

Until recently they were all rear engined although there are now a few front engined moon buggies (non symmetric, front engined, single seat sitting on the belly plate)

I dont know that I would call any of the buggies listed moon buggies (I think they are all have symmetrical cages??). They are just rear engined or front engined single seaters.

But for that matter you can call them whatever you want, there's nothing official.

I've chucked up a few posters around both Narrandera and Leeton --- try to get a few more peeps interested in the sport. (Is that a good or a bad thing?). Both towns are only around 80 and 100 minutes away.

Wish I could get over to Wagga - put up a few around over there. Would get heaps of peeps.

I wont be going for a looky see. I have to go there this wed for a funeral so i dont wanns ago near the place for another 6 months. I couldnt really see many people from wagga intrested anyway. The ones who are will already be lining up for it. best place to put posters in wagga is the servos. Every one buys fuel at 5,10,20 buks at a time.

There should be somewhere near the event to land a crop duster. Id ring the pub or look on the net . There are a few private planes out that way.
