Quick question on jimny fueltanks
Quick question on jimny fueltanks
gday,
Just wondering if a jimny fuel tank could be easily incorporated into the sierra fuel tank mounts. If not, is there a EFI tank that would?
Cheers

coily tank will bolt straight in and you will need fuel pump and bits and pieces from a vitara tank to make it work. Also note tank will still be exposed and will get rock rash and holed in the original posi.
I was going to use the jimny tank but stopped this because I would not be able to keep the back seat. On the Jimny the tank is mounted in front of the rear diff. If are only going two seater this is an ideal tank as the posi can be utilised like the Jimny and the tank would be mid mount in front of the diff and away from the danger of getting bashed around. Only issue is it would need to be mounted through the floor to work.

the jimny tank is in front of the rear axle. and goes between the chassis rails, over the top of the drive shaft. because of the width of a jimny, i doubt that you'll be able to fit the tank betwwn the rails of a sierra.
