Hi,
I have a patrol 160, 1980-model 4,0L, with chassis-nr 600060. So the info in the first posting can't be correct.

helppp me..........
I have put axles from a 3.3 litres turbo-diesel with ARB on the car. I need lower gear because the car isn't strong enough with 39" irok to drive in rock crawling competition.

Preferably something cheap.
:) :)

jUST wondering if there is anything about mk utes in your book. I understand there were higher than mq utes. Was the difference due to tires or did they use different springs. Understand there might have been a suspension upgrade in 1985. Can you confirm this?

Hey Screwy,

Thanks for the reply.

I just found out from another guy on this forum that it's an EBRO.

Spanish built bastard son of the 160. Quite a few differences as far as
axles and springs are concerned. At least I can work out what's compatible.

By the way, EBRO also built the Commando which was basically an army Jeep with a Perkins donk.

Cheers,

Rinse.
