Front swaybar chassis mount GQ

I heard a few clunks yesterday while driving so inspected today. The right hand swaybar at the chassis had pulled through, the nut was inside the top rubber and the top captive washer was missing.

I raised the front 50mm a month ago, is this a typical problem with raised springs or just one of those things. All I have done since the raise is some fairly casual rock hopping a few weeks ago.

I've had my front swaybar always connected with my lift and haven't had a drama yet, think your washer has maybe worn out with all the dirt and shite it gets exposed to. Haven't had em unbolted and forgot to put the washer back by any chance?

Beretta thanks, yep I think I must have done some thing like you said or didn't tighten it all the way back up and it got hammered through if that is possible.
For a moment I thought I should have fitted an extension with the lift.

I think anything over 2 or 3" yeah you would get longer links for sure. I would defintely expect that it could get hammered through if not tightened right up. Ah well at least its just a washer dude!

i have the"detachable" sway bar on rear,so generaly i leave it
connected on road and disconnected off road.
I feel it rides better disconnected.(even on road)
The only time its not "quite right" is on long bends at
hwy speeds.
