go for a slider that both protects door and sills, make sure you bring the tube up on an angle to help clearence and insure good that you leave good clearence under your door opening incase somehow you beat the tube up and can't open your door, but with good construction this pretty hard to do...

Just make sure that they are as easy to remove as possible or you'll get to the point where you couldn't be bother taking the off and that will be the day you should've. Youd want to go option 2 which has checkplate cover to stop rock damage to the doors. To stop the bars from bending upwards when leaning down on a rock etc, weld some thick gussets from the mounting plate to the bar, the full length out from the chassis to the bars, will help with the bending upward forces.
