My Tailshaft has a few nicks in it from stone damage and the paint is missing, so id like to get a new one.

Where can i source one from?

I'm keen to get a new one made and double skin to stop the paint getting chipped....

why not just get new tube welded in ?
shouldn't be more than $100 :? balanced

would suggest going thicker wall though :lol:

Try some of the diff conversion places like Keysborough diffs or similar where a lot of g/box conversions are done. They could replace the tube with thicker wall and balance it as suggested above.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.

Cheers Engineering in Bayswater Nth do exhaust & tailshaft mods 9761 6663, might be worth a try....they specialise in trucks so Rover shouldn't be too hard to do!

Not cheap. but a great job.
