sourcing diff breather threaded barbs and Locker Q's?

Post by ash_on_mtb »

anyone know a source for threaded barbs for use in a DIY home breather set?? I'm tipping bunnings is out...

For an 86 4Runner, IFS front. Using 5mm clear plastic hose and a fuel filter. Sound sane??

Also, the rear diff contains an air locker- does this have an impact on the oil/changing/checking process? Is it just as the nice book says, or does it need special treatment??

(feel free to re-direct me if this has already been covered, I cannot find it in a search.)

cheers.
