Pajero Power window problems.

Post by The Master »

Hi There,

The power windows a friends 93 Pajero have suddenly failed to operate. Have checked fuse under dash and swapped relays arround next to the battery in the engine compartment. No luck.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here?

Cheers,

Carl

Yes there is a power window relay under the dash just above the fuse box.
It contains the rear demister relay, rear wiper relay and A/T overdrive relay. The power window relay is the top right one (there are two rows of three plugs). You maybe able to swap one of the other ones to check it.

Not a problem with the "lock" switch? I never use mine, so I'm not sure if it locks all of them?

Good luck,

My rear windows jam in the runners from lack of use. (no kids) But sometimes they'll come good. So it may not be electrical.
