TB42 + 350 Holley?

Post by bogged »

Mates lookin at a 350 holley on his TB on Dual fuel.

Anyone using one, is it worth the heartbreak and hassle? What about on hills and things?

Good idea or not?

From what I have read and seen Holleys are Sh!thouse on angles, probably better off rebuilding the stock carby.

Very true, but what happens if he runs out of gas, then has to drive a real gnarly section? :finger:

You can get carby's rebuild from The Carby Shop in Wantirna, seems to do a good job for a fair price.

Sandy,

are you talking standard carbs or Hollleys???

Hes working from a thread he saw saying 10l/100 for a TB42, sounds like fantasy to me, but if it happens....
