just wanna know if anyone has had much of a run with a turbo 700 with a locked rear diff. onroad i know they blow up the torque convertor pretty quick, just wondering if this still happens offroad?

been running mine for a couple of years now without a problem, an running a tricked up TH700 and heavy duty converter. 35 mtrs for road dual locked, twin cases.

my moon buggy runs a standard turbo 700 with a locked rear diff.. have flogged it a fair bit.. and still goes hard...


Cant comment on onroad performances.

Been running the t700 with a welded rear for about a year now worries thus far :D

how did u adapt it for the hilux transfer, marks? or are you using a different transfer?
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown

Used the marks adaptor
Bought the gear box.
Took it a transmission place who swaped the new out put shaft in for arond about $180 bucks.

Its all very simple and a good kit.
