Does anyone know which late model buick heads can be used on a 4.6?

Its only early model buick heads which fit, they stopped making alloy v8's in the mid 60's.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.

There was some guy in NZ that did this a few years ago.
If I recall the combustion chamber volumes are 44CC and they have to be filled to 35 or 28 CC with weld.

The only real advantage is trhat the exhaust ports are much bigger, but you would have to have custom extractors made with big flange holes, so it could become expensive. Also may need ciustom length pushrods (not sure of this) .
Altogether PITA.
Unless you building a max rev monster, then probably not much advantage.
