Hi every one, took my MQ P40 down to the mechanic today as it was running ruff, turns out one of the cylinders is low on compression, has anyone else had this problem and what they went about doing to fix the problem, or wat options ive got?Mechanic is goin to adjust the tapits to see if the pressure comes up. cross my fingers

Problems with MQ P40 motor
Well... not on a P40.
Usual situations are.
Sticking or warped valve.
Stuffed rings.
Stuffed pistons.
Stuffed bores.
It could potentially have something to do with a small crack in the head or slight headgasket leak, or receeding valve seats... but that would normally show up on more than I cylinder.
