Holey tailpipe!!

Post by ash_on_mtb »

Howdy guys,

got a simple qustion- My 'runner has a mild steel 2.5" exhaust that has holes from the rear muffler back, and not getting me over the RWC line! I need to get it replaced for next to nix- is it easy (read cheaper) to pull the section out and take it to someone to duplicate, or is it easier for all to leave it in-situ and take it to the nice man to get replaced?

And gettting out tough tailpipes? Suggestions? I've got penetrene going on it at the moment, and will maybe use some heat- any other suggestions to free up a rusty pipe?

cheers,
ash.
