OZ Rock 4x4 Round 2 Yea Victoria May 6th and 7th.

Post by Cheezy4x4 »

Yep its on again OZ Rock 4x4 (Australian Rock Crawling Championships)
Round 2 will be at Yea Victoria 6th and 7th of May 06.
Ok who is up for it :?: Yep we are going to run tracks as hard as round 1 but its going to be better.
We are starting with a show and shine in the Yea township on Friday and running adds on free to air TV all week prior to the event. So there is going to be a BIG crowd as its only 1hr from Melbourne CBD.
We have some big new sponsors that are backing the event as they thought round 1 was so insane they couldnt miss out on the rest of the year.
If you thought Walbundrie was good :!: Yea has double the traction so that = insane lines and driving.
Moose is the competitor liaison so help him out and post up that you are interested in competing and he will contact you.

We should give credit where credit is due and the guys from Cheezy Racing & Co have done a top job. This was one event with non stop extreme action and it should be on Everyones calendar, even for you guys north of the border. It was well organize and executed. The event was hard and some people thought it was too hard but I believe it was time to challenge us all and make us step up. So bring on the challenge again cos in 12mth these type of courses will probably be norm .

Pete & Tazz set the standard, pushed the limits and deserved their win, but don’t get use to it fellas because surely that buggy cant hold up to that abuse you put it through all the time

I would like to thank all the ABT Team members and congratulate the boys on taking out 2nd place . I would like to also thank & acknowledge the support of our sponsors particularly Procomp, Staun Internal Beadlocks & CTM Racing.
My god Pippy it was awesome to see you dish it out and come back for more….You and Yuget always give 110% and your not scared push the limits, back yourself and go for those bonus line At least everyone now knows if you don’t take it out you are definitely going to put on a hellva show!!!

Well done Cal & Maurice and bring on that new buggy. Nice buggy Sam and I am sure the drivetrain will be strong enough at the next event. Break it Rob you are just insane and Nam you have balls and showed that budget rigs & big balls can mix it with the best of em.

Just quickly I’m not a big fan on the buggy number idea as there is little space as it is for sponsors to get recognition on our buggies. It is hard enough to get sponsors to support our sport and if we cant give them the coverage they need it will continue to be hard. And to take up this space with numbers is unjust. Sponsors provide us with valuable support and until we are paid to have these numbers on our buggies I don’t plan to run one on ours. What are the thoughts of other Competitors & Sponsors??

Seeya all at Werock Bathurst & Ozrock Rd 2 where I hear there is going to be an International flavor
Cheer Sean

International   EH JUST BRING IT who ever they are they had better get there shit together if they think they come over here and impress us  :P :D :D
