Ouch. Never seen one for $2500 or $12000. Crazy prices. Not saying the prices aren't real, but they're not common.mud4b wrote:anywhere from $2500 to as high as $12,000..
For what the average on the market is now, as I've been looking in QLD for about 6 weeks now, I have seen a coily soft top for as cheap as $4500 unregistered, and then anywhere from $5500 up to $10000 registered. You tend to pay a little more for a hard top than a soft top and there will be great variations in condition, even for ones of the same price.

picked up a coily a few weeks ago with minor rust repairs, and a general mechanical tidy up, and by next week it will owe me about $3200 on the road with 12 months rego....
Only 128,000kms too
Spamwell on this forum picked up a very neat one for little over $1K
There are deals out there
I would assume that the going rate is around the $6K- 10K region.

i just sold one for a little less than $2500.00.. i get offered them for around the $3 to 3500.00..
$12,000 is quite common for a low k sierra surf... i guess your not looking in that price range so you dont see them..
