Hi

Can anybody tell me what the biggest tyres are I can fit on standard rims (16inch) on a 2001 wrangler with OUT a lift?

30's might still scrub if disconnected.

i have 2.5" lift with 31's and it just scrubs when discoed

technically you can fit 32" tyres.. but it wont be any good for driving.

31" tyres will fit - but as matty suggested they will probably rub when swaybars are disconnected.

But - if you wanted to do it cheaply - you could do a 1" BL and MML which will stop the tyres from rubbing as much!

We've fitted 35"s to a non-lifted TJ before.....but it was a TIGHT fit.....but was only to drive 100meters or so for fun.......
But would still like to do it properly one day (like JP did)....
