More details wanted 70 series?

I would love to get my hands on one of these trucks. Problem is I have never seen one and don't know anything about them. How much different are they from our Bundera's or SWB 70 lancruisers? Transmission, axles, diffs and engines? any help would be very much appreciate, I am after either roadworthy vehicles or parts trucks. I really like the dash setup in these, very nice

mmm, yummy. I'd also like to get my hands on one...

either a kzj70 or kzj71. 3 litre turbo diesel, some are intercooled. same as the 3 litre surf motor i think. I cant find much info on them but i get the feeling they are very similar to a bundera. coils all round with hilux running gear. They're sort of an upgrade of the lj70 i think.

made up until 96 i think, never seen one for sale though :( most of them are in japan i think.

keen to know more too

Did some research on the curvy dash a while ago. It is a Japanese market only item from 1993-1996. It looks like it can be retrofitted to the older 70 series but some parts are different enough, you have to get pretty much everthing.

externally it looks the same as my uk 70 (lj-70rv) but my dash isnt quite the same. i will take a pic or 2 tomorrow and post
