Just curious as to what people did in the way of oil and water lines, where they tapped into etc

Few links there or you could give Mark at JPC a call on (03) 9469 2566. He was one of the first guys to turbo a tb42 I think and he certainly knows his stuff. He's also done at least one twin-turbo set up as well. :cool:
It seems the best way to do it is to put the turbo after the carby to save the seals, or run the engine on LPG or EFI it (I reckon LPG would be the way to go but horses for courses). Lower compression pistons might also be wise as well as the obligatory engine freshen-up. Apparently the manifolds for a turbo diesel will bolt straight on though. 200rwkw is quite acheivable.

I plan on running the stock EFI setup with a turbo on the side for starters (with minor tweaks so it doesn't detonate) with only minor upgrades like RX7 injectors (460cc), rising rate pressure regulator, and later on a totally aftermarket ECU - probably something budget like a Microtech.

and I'll be ditching the AFM too, and swaping to MAP sensor

Might have to go aftermarket ECU in the early stages. As I have been told by one of the mechs that works at OnTrack (east Keilor Melb) that the std computer doesent like boost. Something about it cant get the fueling right.
http://www.ontrack4x4.net.au/ has there contact details. They did a straight gas with coil packs and that got 180rwkw very easyily. And cheap to run. And no computer.

That's where running a rising rate regulator (or bigger injectors) on the fuel rail might 'fool' the ecu, and not cause pinging?

LPG isn't really an option for me, I'm on somewhat of a budget (and knowing my luck I'd run out of fuel in the middle of buttfuk nowhere :bad-words: )
