With out changing your exhaust manifild you are very limited to the turbo's you can fit, as the 4 bolt flange on your manifold only takes that type turbo. But be in to much in a hurry to up grade the turbo as it can lead to a lot of problems in a short time including cracks in head or manifold due to excess heat. or over heating due to poor fuel ratio's
Regards Michael
P.S. I know this thru personal experience on my rocky

From memory it is the IHI turbos with 3 bolt flanges. These come on vehicles such as Subaru's and Mitsubishis. Id be looking at turbos off WRX's, lancer gsr's and cordias (maybe bit small). I know apexi make some really nice bolt on turbos for the 3 bolt flange on the WRX, would need to see a pic of your inlet flange to really be able to tell for certain if one is going to fit though.

Where are you located? Exotic Exhaust at sumner park in Brisbane do custom exhaust manifolds for 4 bangers for around $400, this would open up the option of what turbo to fit quite nicely. Id be going for a garret gt2530 ball bearing unit. These flow anything from 300-440hp depending on the trim you select and the spool time (or lack thereof) is just impressive.

Cheers
Brad
