Busy fitting my Marlin Crawler into my Hilux

Post by WRANGLER_4X4 »

Hi all busy fitting The Marlin Crawler into my Hilux, will post some photo's for you all to enjoy, in our money here in South Africa this mod has cost me R28 000. so far, will explain to you all tomorrow night how I came up with this figure and what cost what, rather late here now, must go to bed.
This mod will give my vehicle a ratio of 206: 1 thus with the 33's and other mods well only the photo's will tell the true story.

This evening we sorted out the twin shifters, had to cut a hole in the floor, then fitted the low-high lever and everything is great, there is more than enough clearence from the body floor.
Enjoy the photo's

But we can drive our 4x4's :D

I saw a cd of That Outback Challenge, nice awsome stuff, would like to enter that type of thing one day, however will have to look for a sponsor to do that, here in South Africa I do already have Bridgestone sponsoring me the 8 tyres for this vehicle, four muds and four all terrains, all fitted to 8 rims that I had to import from America.

Just quickly, my vehicle also has front and rear ARB Lockers, when I fitted them, I completely overhauled the front and rear axles, cost me over R24 000. but I also had to fit a new crownwheel and match set pinion.

Running out of internet time now, here we log on from 19h00 to 7am the next morning for a special rate (call more time, pay a R7.50 connection fee and surf all night for that price and then R52. for the month, but I also have to pay the additional R74.00 for the server which is

Have a cool day my friends, is there a section here where a person can post photo's of themselves, would like to see who you are or you me.

:) And somebody said that we cannot play cricket, well tell me who won last time, yes my truck is cool, however Ronny and I have bought another Hilux, it is a 1993 model double cab 4x4, it has a Cressida 3Litre 6 cylinder 24 valve twin cam fuel injection engine fitted with an auto box, we paid R34 500. for it, also included a stream lined canopy, this vehicle will be awsome when we are finsihed with the various mods.
