Here is the worst news ever!!!!!!!!!

The very first Tuff Truck event back in 2001 saw the excitement of helicopter joyflights provided to spectators at the event. Although one of the sponsors flew in by chopper to last years event, it wasn’t available for joyflights and a few people requested that the team investigate this for the 2006 event.

We’re pleased to announce that helicopter joyflights are back, for Tough Dog Tuff Truck 2006! Aerologistics will provide various timed and custom flights over the whole event as well as over the Milbrodale and Lower Hunter wine area.

THAT WAS THE MOST ANNOYING SHIT IDEA EVER!!

squik, and other organisers, atleast please try to make him take off from the far corner and not come too close.
the lovely whirring sound of the chopper all day does pi$$ the crowd right off hey!

Music thru PA WEROCK finals style is muuuuuccccch better, hint hint

Noooooooooooooo!

Worse thing, besides the noise, was being covered in dust and dirt every time it took off. Its bad enough not having a real shower for 3 days but then being covered in a cloud of dirt every five minutes?!?

Yes please as far away as possible, newcastle perhaps?
damn those lying bitches

DRS I think you are a bit late, I think they are all out there already setting up.. I ccould go leave a note on the front doors of the people I know address of that are involved... but that's rude so I will let you continue to harrass them in a forum they won't read for a while

I know most competitors dislike the mud, but without the mud, it really is just WERock for 'registered' vehicles.
It's called Tuff Truck because it sorts the 'tuffest trucks' from the not so tough trucks, so it really should test every aspect of a vehicles capabilities, not just a specific (read: rock) attribute.
Ideally the courses used in Tuff Truck should be based on real world tracks that we would find in the bush (well maybe not these days but definitely 15 years ago), not just a tricky line that can be set using cones. (Not having a go at the specific rockcrawling events but believe that Tuff Truck style events should be kept distinct from the newer breed of buggy-based rock events).
