GU 4.2TD BOOST CONTROLLER

Post by BIDS »

Hi All,
Just wondering what your thoughts are on Boost Controller Types & Brands ? I have just purchased a VDO Boost Guage & Pyro and have the guages installed, but not hooked up yet. I'd like to purchase a Controller and Install it at the same time so that I can have the Truck Dyno'd so that I can have the fuel tuned to match the extra boost.
Any good or bad reports on specific Boost controllers ? I assume that an "Under Bonnet" Controller is sufficient?

Thanks in Advance.

I have the same turbo smart on my truck. If you use one of these just place it where it is protected because mine got clagged with crap and I lost boost in the middle of a comp. PITA to find out what it was.
