aparently they are not running it this year due to the fact the old Coast club is running 2006 Four Wheel Drive Queensland Corroboree

The Gold 2000 is an awesome event. I was hoping to compete for a lead up to the XI so we could get our nav skills up to date as we are not competing in the Outback Challenge. I Guess I'll have to get my self lost in the state forrest and try and find my way out!!!

What a shame!!!!!

Unfortunately, yes this year teh 2000 has been puit on hold. With everyone involved in the running of the Corroborree (which is going to be huge), the club has decided to postpone it.

We do hope someone puts up there hand to get it going again. As details become available, I will definately keep everyone updated on OL.

Perhaps a few positive emails to the club from those interested would ensure the event will not dissappear, which would be a real shame.

You never know, I might just have to put my hand up to do it. I dont really want to though, but to keep the event alive, I will.

It is an absolutely awesome event, and so well organised last year with great sponsors jumping on board. It will be a great shame if it didn 't go ahead this year. Pete and I were really looking forward to giving it another go.

The Coroboree sounds great, pity it is so close to the OBC, was looking forward to going.
