just chucked some 2 inch blocks under my 80 and i was thinking
what to do with the gear levers. on my old 80 i heated them up and bent them so they would clear the floor but what has anyone else done different?

Its a good idea to pack wet rags around the base of the gear lever also. Otherwise you can perish the inner bushes that stop vibration from the road been transfered to your hands. Slowly and carefully is the way, dont overheat it.

Hi
Every time I see a body lift topic come up I mean to ask this.
What have other people done where the steering shaft goes through the fire wall?
Mine rubed after the lift.
Have you had this problem Hackas?
I grinded it but I think this was a bit rough and quick. I now have an elongated hole and the rubber seal dose not cover this.
The bit I grinded is a plate that screws into the firewall. I probably could have tried to move this up and try screwing it in a diferent position.
But did not have time.
What have other people done?
