FEROZA WITH V6 ENGINE

Post by Fero V6 »

Hi guys
I'd like to ask you if anibody have changed the original engine of the feroza 1.600 cc for another more powerful engine like V6 or something.

I'm installing right now a V6 3000 cc of Mitsubishi Montero (pajero), the job is almost completed i left the original gear box and diffs of the feroza.

I would like to know if anyody have done this before and if the gear box and diffs are strong enough for this engine.

In the future my intention is to put the gear box and diffs of toyota hilux but not for the moment ($$$).

Thanks and i hope to be in touch.

Gear box and diffs are strong enough only for suzuki vitara's V6 2000ccm engine.

dont think the g.box can take the boosted power. it shits itself with a turbo on the stock engine... it'd be interesting to see how long it can go if you take care of it. post pics pls of ur conversion!!!!

A lot of it would be to do with how its driven.. If you baby it til you can afford new running gear it should be sweet... just dont do burnouts or flat change into 2nd :D

Pics please too

great to see something different for a bit more power but just wondering what made you choose the 3L pajero engine? From all accounts ive heard of never ending and $$$ problems from Mitsubishi engines.

Done it and so has Toyhatsu (Kent)

I used a Commondore 3.8 V6 but I also swapped the driveline for Hilux stuff at the same time.

Kent has used a Toyota engine and running gear for his.

Search the forum for the build-ups.
