Hi all, finally got my pajy back on the road after melting my timing belt from a siezed water pump .
I thought Id take this opertunity to flush the cooling system and get rid of this GURGLING noise that I get through my air vents. Ive been told that its air traped in the heater hoses. I have flushed the system but found I still have this gurgling noise.
Is their a special way to re fill the cooling system?and how do I get the air out of the hoses?
Cheers
Glenn

how do I get air out of the cooling system
Moderator: -Scott-
After I've changed my coolant I go for a carefull drive up a very steep and long hill near home. This should force all the air towards the radiator and out of the system. I would use the bleed screw that's behind the thermostat but I've stuck another coolant temp sensor in there and would rather not disturb it. If you have a look at most engines, there is a bleed screw on the non radiator side of the thermostat. Hope this helps SWBPAJERO
