anyone tell me what the average consumption is?
i know nissan claims around 13lt per hundred but what do people really get??

so with the current price of diesel that works out to be just under $20 per hundred.
when looking at the price of petrol and the average consumption of them it works out about $3 per hundred more expensive.
thats not too bad i rekon?

If you're looking at running costs, don't forget that you've got increased servicing with diesel....

yeh i been thinking bout that too.
i usually change my oil every 5k on any car i have, diesel or petrol.

i get around 14-15l per 100
(gu coil cab, lift, 285's, exhaust, loaded etc....)

Don't forget about extended range of diesel and fuel availability in the outback if that affects you.

yeh thats another thing to take into consideration.
i figure that if i have nearly 200l of petrol i should be able to cover most of the trips i plan to do.
