Bought an 80 series

Post by slowhilux »

As the title says. Its a 1995 DX with only 104,000km on it. It has a snorkel, alloy winch bar (no winch), towbar and alloy wheels (err).

It will need very soon
a) new set of tyres, which ones to buy??
b)4" or 6" lift, who? where? which of the 2 is better?

The car is my daily driver, so im NOT going to extremes with things (i hope!)

Cheers,
Phill

You can keep the sway bars if you go 4" or you will need to modify them if you go 6". I have the same model but only a 2" and 33" BFG's. It's my daily driver as well and I didn't want to go through the crap of engineers certificates - I will one day!
