Ok ppl i fitted my 4 inch springs on the weekend however its more like 5 inches!!!
ANYWAY i have 2 problems.
1)The rear tailshaft contacts the tube crossmember when the rear articulates a lot! I have heard a fix for this is to reverse the tailshaft so the larger diameter section of the tailshaft is closer to the diff!!
however,
2)The rear tailshaft also contacts the fuel tank (i have a 75l long ranger petrol tank with my LPG) with even less articulation. It did not do this while i was putting the springs and shocks in but thats probably just because the way the cars was jacked.
Has anyone else with a lift of this height encountered this problem and what was your fix?
Also the drivers side rear lower control arm was hitingt the fuel tank with very little flex as it has a bracket on it with a funny peice of rubber. I just flipped the control arem around as it looked semetrical so now the bracket is on top.
Thanks again.
jimmy

okay, take your rear tail shaft out, and swap it around, so the narrow end is at the transfer case,
second question, did you fit adjustable panhards while you were are it? if you did, they may be set too short, if you havnt, your originals are definatly too short causing prob,
there all the ideas i have at the moment, see what others come up with also,

I thought the narrow bit should be at the transfer end - mine is. Just clarifying.ozy1 wrote:okay, take your rear tail shaft out, and swap it around, so the narrow end is not at the transfer case,
