Hey does nyone wanna help me with this...
I have a RTC steering damper on my hilux at the moment but the spring got hung up on rocks now its rooted!
Im unsure wether to get another one or just get a normal steering damper, rancho or something...
How do they weigh up RTC vs Normal Damper..... i run 35" muddies soon to be 38s...
Thanks

RTC steering damper
Its a 91 Lux with power steer. I didnt think of removing the spring, so it'll work the same as a normal damper...
Thanks
Thanks
RTC damper has less hyd force than a standard damper, and hardly worth the cost or effort.
Monroe make one for 35" + tyres, which is 80% stiffer than standard, and works well on patrols and cruisers, just doesnt "look" like its worth millions, and Ridepro have some good steering damper rates as well.

mate i just put a toughdog one on to compat the gu left pull and stiffin things up and am very impressed and it's nice and easy to adjust as the spring wears etc.... just price a replacement spring and be done with it and prob pretty cheap to....
