County 110 Starter Motor

Post by jsttry »

New to the Land Rovers and am looking for a place to get replacement parts here in Australia. The starter motor in the County 110 is starting to play up and I have had to hit the solenoid a couple of times to get it to start so its due for a replacement. Just trying to find where to get a replacement solenoid and/or starter motor from (is there an alternative to genuine?) so I can try to pull it out myself.

As posted before, its a 4.6L block with 3.5L top end in case that makes a difference

if its just a bit sticky, i'd just pull it aut and rebuild. but if new or rebuilt replacements are cheap... (if you rebuild yourself then at least you know 100% what you have.)
