I'm looking at 34's or 35's, entry level comp stuff on a trailer rig.
I can get JT2's for $330 each, which is a great price I know, but don't have the $$$, and I need rims too.
I know Motorway are working on a Mogrel 35" but it's likely to be high $200's anyway, and there's no release date yet. Does anyone know of a good tread, but cheap tyre in this size, other than buying 2nd hand (Which doesn't seem to be any cheaper).

Nope.
Look to second hand.
The only "cheap" 35's I can think of are silverstone MT117s in 285/85/16. These always used to be around the $270(?) mark but do need work with a groover to help them flex.
I was always tempted to try them as they have a nice military look to them but the extra cost of 16" rims put me off.
