Steering box GU removal

Post by DBW »

WTF? How do you get it off?

I'm trying to get it off so I can slip the yoke back on the steering shaft enough and move the steering wheel to regain my steering wheel centre. There is not enough play in the shaft to get it off so I have started to remove the steering box but the bottom left bolt you can't get to the head? WTF? rattle gun just spins it. Is there an easier way to regain my steering wheel centred? It's a 2001 GU wagon with a 4" lift, running adjustable panhards etc.

I'm emotional! Thanks fellas!
