How wide 33"tires on a -93 SWB

Hi,

I have just began a lift project on my -93 swb 3.0 by using rear coil springs from a -98 LWB and by tuning up the torrionsbars in the front.

It`s now running on 31"x11,5"
Does any one know if 12.5 wide 33" will fit or shall i buy 11.5" 33"?

I`m also looking for a snorcle air kit,
does any one has a supplier?

Hello Jan. I currently use 33x12.50x15 on Toyota offset rims and have no rubbing issues. My Paj has a two inch spring and body lift.

Does the Landcruiser offest move the tire more "in"-against chassi our "out"-out from chassi?

Or did you just come over a set of Landcruiser rims instead of Pajero`s?
Will the Pajero offset scratch rubber when turning full you think?

I have the Pajero model with the big original plastic widings,
Will it work work with 33"x12.5"?

Hello Jan. I didn't have to work out anything when I ordered the tyres and wheels. I just asked a mate at the local 4X4 shop and he supplied the wheels and tyres and I fitted them up. I purchased Pro-comp Mud Terrains on steel Rock Crawler rims. I just had a look in the shed and I can't find the boxes that the wheels came in or I'd let you know. I just remember that they were Cruiser offset. I don't recall them telling me if it was 80 series or other. Sorry. The only rubbing that I get is from the center of my home made mudflaps on full lock when the suspension is over half compression. This just lightly scuffs the rubber on the flap and does no damage.

i also have a 93 swb nh with 2"spring lift and body lift, i run 33x12.5x15 MT/R's on cruser offset rims, i've had no rubbing at all. the cruser offset pushes the rubber away from the chassis. have a look in the 'pics of you rig', i've got a few pics in there.

hey jan, iv also got 33x12.5x15 on the landcruiser offset sunnies, theyll definitely scrub if you put them on the pajero offset, i did try.

Step one in my project is repl.rear coils springs-->LWB and in the front crank up the torrion bars.
Then i like to put on 33".

But i will not be able to use rims with original Pajero offset-Right?

Do you know how much the Land Cruiser offest differ from Pajero?
Perhaps i can use x mm thick spacers?

Step II will then be a proper chassi lift,

Hi Jan

Some of your proposals would not be legal in Australia, but Sweden's regulations may be different.

33x12.5" tyres are very wide for Pajero 15x7" rims. I've been told, but haven't measured for myself, that Pajero offset is +10mm, and LandCruiser is -23mm. This means the LandCruiser rims add 2.5" to the vehicle's track, which will put additional strain to your steering and front suspension.

My tyres are theoretically 32.8"x11.2", with zero offset rims. I don't have rubbing at the front, but the outside edge of my tyres is flush with my (flared) guards - any wider, and I would be required to add additional flares to remain legal in Australia.

mine is the same as scotts
i wouldnt go any wider than 11.5 theres no real need.
