Hey there

I used to run 32s stock - probably get away with 33's if your springs arent too flat :)

Got any pics of your FJ73? (sorry to go offtopic)

maybe post them in readers rides .

Thanks

Jake , mlowe Thanks for the advice on the tyres.Working on the pics .Only had it for a few weeks.Bought it off a young dude who had lost his lic ,didnt pay the rego, then his clutch and brakes went at the same time . I got a landcruiser mechanic to do all the heavy duty work while I concentrated on doing all the little fiddly jobs. I paid $3500 plus another $3250 to get it on the road including all the pit examination costs and 6 months rego. The body is dent free no rust and the interior is almost like new. I got some noise from the power steering box to sort out but its ok for a while. Its a 88 Lim Ed model . I got 10r 15 in desert duelers on it now but I want to go one or 2 sizes up . Its a nice car so I want to keep it fairly original. Went to look at a low klm turbo diesel 89 midi last week for 9 grand ,thought about a trade but the salesman said he sold it before it was even cleaned .Didnt realise they were so popular. I might be a bit one eyed but I reckon the midis are the best combination of space ,length and weight in the toyota range if your using it as a daily driver.
