A huge  needs to go to Sam Overton for this display

He worked his ass off behind the scenes to make sure that every angle was covered, and made my job of organising the final stage of the process, very easy.

It has been a truly awesome week. From setting the first bale of hay on Monday morning to the unfortunate destruction of the course tomorrow, there have been so many excellent moments.

Tom stole the show over the weekend. Despite the best efforts of 'Captain Horse Power' to take out the prize, Tom performed some of the best driving that I have seen. Well done mate.

To all of the guys who took time out from their busy lives...THANK YOU

Without you guys giving up your time, it would have been another static display. And the most impressive part is that next weekend we are all in Bathurst for W.E. Rock.

Another big  must go to the generous sponsors who gave so much to the display. It is amazing how often these businesses can dig into their pockets to help support an event.

Finally...Sam, from me to you - Thanks heaps. It was awesome.

Awsome weekend, As bad line benny said " It's off Tap "
Some of the lines teams got themselves into & managed to drive out of was amazing. I thought trev was gone a few times. But we " only" flopped the once. All the drivers were going unbelievably hard, considering we-rock is next weekend. But overall every single person was having sooooooo much fun driving. You just have to have a look at the SMILE Tom had on his face after driving some wicked lines Tony put him in. Man that concrete is Hard on gear.

A few of the best photo's i got.

OK I have the final scores from the first qualifying round of WEROCK.

I was somewhat surprised that more guys from NSW and VIC didn't come up to get the every important series points.

UNLIMITED'S

1st Adrian and Roger ..... -52
2nd Harley and Micka .... -51
3rd Boof and Gaz .......... -2
4th Tom and Tony ......... +45

LEGENDS class.

1st Ally and Chris ......... -18
2nd Jamie and Steve .... -8
3rd Dave Camp ........... +360 (DNF each stage)

So the series points are as follows -

Unlimiteds

Adrian and Roger - 200
Harley and Micka - 199
Boof and Gaz - 198
Tom and Tony - 197

Legends Class

Ally and Chris - 200
Jamie and Steve - 199
Dave Camp - 198

So over all it looks as though the teams to the USA have already been decided.

top video antt!

does it end with tony in the rental or does it stop short?

over all the weekend went off!
Congrats to all who turned up and helped, i got in trouble of Ally last night for breaking an axle (first thing broken ever on our buggy!) trust it to be me to do it.

As for our first run on the Maxxis Creepy's we were extreemly impressed.      We were only running the sidewalls in as they are brand new, so 3psi without beadlocks caused a few small dramas, but they were re seated back on the rims in no time at all thakns to 250psi of Air-Up pressure! :D

Also the shennanigans with the bundy girls late yesterday was a bit of a laugh!
BTW Steve, Ally wants to know if you'll help her in and out of the buggy next time? :finger: :finger:

Looks like it was fun.

But I can`t see $15,000, can you brake it down for me?

Concrete is about $140 - $160 per mtr and you only used 3 trucks, yes?
Pump around $160 per hr
Hay, well that veries heeps.

In all honesty they are most likly going to go over there budget.

Yes well the building of it I can see not even $5000. Removal and fencing I don`t see 10g in that.

I know from having run my own business and having built my own house how things can soon absorb money real quick and add up real fast so I`d love to see a brake down of the costs.

Just PM me if you don`t want it on the BB.

Not being rude...but you know shite.

I do concreting and earthmoving for a living. If you can get 30 cubic metres into 3 concrete trucks then you are doing heaps better than every single concrete plant in this country.

The break down of the costs won't be shared with anyone outside of the people contracted to build it.

Rest assured that there are not too many people around that could have done it any cheaper.

Sam,Tony,Adrian, the guys from Rock hammer Racing for building it in there own time,Mickey Tompson,TJM and finally all the guys and girls who drive the helped out sam. Or even better build one where u wont have to remove it after.
Would be cool to get sponcers to put the money towards there own rock section (the bigger they build it the better they will look) and have a whole bunch of them together to hold a comp on   .

U blokes have done well, a shame to have to knock it down  but im sure alot was learned from it and if another gets built im sure it will be bigger and better  now where are the build up pics??

didn't see any noticable cracks in it on saturday when i was there, i looked for them too after seeing the ones at supercrawl falling apart from where rigs had been hitting it. seemed to be holding up very well
