hi sounds like the gas is freezing up in the lines on your system .normally they have the water hoses from engine connected to the converter to help stop this from happening. my system atually starts on petrol and then clicks over to gas as you reach a certain rev range this is to allow the water to heat up thegas and therefore stops it from freezing before you try to use it. maybe take it to a gas mechanic and see if they can fit this type of switch to yours. or just let it warm up on gas first and then switch it over yourself.deosnt really need to be warmed up for long a couple of minutes should be ok . also make sure water hoses are connected to converter before the heater unit as the water will be hotter than after it.alot of straight gas cars suffer from this type of cenario especially in colder weather. hope this helpswayne
