Yep, i run 32x11.50x15 BFG muds on my cruiser 15x7 original rims and haven't had a single problem for the last 3 years.....

Just don't lower the air in them more than you have to

Mate, if legal issues are irrelevant the only issue is the rim diameter.

15" = 15" = go for it. :roll:

Personally, I wouldn't put 11.5" tyre on 7" rims.

11.5" on 15x7" isnt mandated as legal but safety wise 100% no issues.

The tyre width versus rim ratio is safe, and is exceeded in some approved OEM fittings.

I'd be a bit wary of letting them down below about 18psi though....... as I would with anything beyond a 1.5:1 ratio

theres a lot of guys (including myself) who run 12.5" tyres on 8" rims...so I cant see any problem with 11.5" tyres on 7" rims.

Yeah i run 32/11.5s on my standard 15/7 rims and have run them as low as about 15 psi with no dramas... and that giving them a flogging!

the narrower the rim the better at low pressures as the sidewall is harder to push in from a rock etc and the carcass force outward is greater. 11.5 is narrow enough, should be fine. its only half an inch a side and 10'5 never look overly buldged out.

I ran 32 x 11.5 Silverstone muddies on 15 x 7s for ages, never had a problem.
This is not legal advice.
