Vehicle speed output

Post by alanc »

Hi,
Anyone able to tell me what sort of signal is put out by the pulse(?) generator on a 96 wrangler transfer case.
If pulsed, how many per rev and whether AC or DC.
Thanks and regards, Al.

Al,

As I undestand - and I;m not overly tech on these.
The signal is dc sine wave - but I am not sure on the number of pulses/rpm.
I'll try and get some time later to investigate on the FSM or in the digital dicode info I have.
