Which Brake Pad Part Number? **Urgent**

Post by Rb25sil80 »

Hey guys, pads are down to metal and I need to change them today. There are 2 different pads listed on discpads.com as being for a 92+ feroza. Can someone please tell me which one as they both look very similar!

DB1212

DB292

Im 95% sure its the DB1212, last time I was 95% sure what pads to get I came home with the wrong ones :D

Thanks lads.

Cheers

Have you taken the old ones out to compare the pics? I'm fairly sure one set is for solid discs and the other ventilated; I'm also fairly sure most (all?) Aussie Feroza's have ventilated discs.

Go for the DB1212 - that's what I bought for mine (vented discs) a few years ago. (Yes, you can thank me for searching through all my old receipts! )

From memory mine are Metal King Plus and they work well - cost was $72.50 in feb 03.

Thanks lads. Turns out Repco is shut today so I will have to wait until tomorrow to do it !

Looking at the pics in the service manual I thought it was DB1212. Its a 93 SXPII Widetrack, so thats F310 right?

Mudroza: that was the idea of this thread, so I wouldnt have to make 2 trips and put the old pads back in when I realise the new ones don't fit! Done that before and was not happy :D

Cheers murcod, your always a wealth of info, discpads.com do em for $58 + $10 postage so it might just be cheaper to head to Repco and use my 20% off voucher! Still cant believe they send you a 20% off voucher with your rego sticker! 2 years in a row now.

Thanks again!

There's some advert on TV tonight in SA regarding some sort of discount at Repco tomorrow- I didn't catch it all???

You may find they'll only have the generic pads in stock to fit (if any at all!) I had to order mine in at the place I got them from.

I saw an advert for Autobarn murcod... the one where you get a sheet of X%'s off certain items... prolly some catch with it...

Tomorrow, Supercheap also have 20% off storewide.

My Rocky used 1212 i think also... Bendix 4WD are the ones to use.. no question  Dont get some generic crap ones.. Brakes are brakes
