MK half cages/ roll bars

Post by buddha »

Im interested in finding some pics of peoples mk/mqs if they have put in a half cage or roll bars from the removable canopy section back.
Looking at doing the usual hoop behind the front seats and having the two legs extending back to just behind the rear wheelwells.
Depending on how much room there is when i have the canopy on in winter for the kids to climb through to the back seats i will also be looking at the diagonal section of bar going from behind the drivers rear floor up to the passengers left shoulder.

Any ideas or pics?

here is a link to my thread....

back when it was a soft top i had a rollbar and supports like you speak of.

mine was a little high to put the canopy back on but thats just a matter of a slightly lower hoop.
