What size tyres can I fit on these 16" split rims ? I think they`re 5.5 or 6"
wide ?


Can I fit 235/85/16s ?

If they are 6" you will be fine... 5.5" may be a little tight, as long as you dont use silly low pressures you should be ok.

I had that same size tyre fitted to chrome Landcruiser splities 16x5.5 but they were shitfull to ballance so they noe reside on 16x7 ROH white wheels, sunraisya style.

I wouldnt be droping any pressure with split rims, Iv heard flying rings of steel and people dont mix.

The grey one is an older Cruiser rim and is 16x5.5.
The silver one look like they might be 80 series rims, with what looks like different offset.
You can fit 235/75x16 tyres onto 16x5.5 rims, altho 16x6 or 16x7 is preferable. And you can vary tyre pressures like any normal 4wd tyre.
Luv the sound of a diesel,
