Just use vinyl paint. Comes in a pressure pack, get it from any auto parts store.
Before spraying though, give whatever your painting a thorough cleaning with something fairly harsh. If anything like Armourall or other silicone based "protectants" have been used on it you need to get rid of that first, otherwise the paint won't stick.

you can use ESP (easy surface prep) Dulux and alike stock it. And penetrol is also a surface prep just by a different company. They will both do the job. We use these products to apply first to laminated surfaces and alike that paint has trouble bondidng too. Then just spray vynil paint onto it.

go to supercheap i here they have a 20% off sale buy some export paint about 3 bux just make sure you clean the surface properly as already stated i just used metho worked fine dont use this paint on stuff that flexes alot though like seats . ok on dash or doors ect. got heaps of colours.go really easy on the coats though not too thick at a time .
Well when painting plastic you need to use a PLASTIC PRIMER (this eats into the plastic and forms a better surface for the paint to stick to...can be bough in spray can form from most auto shops. You can use normal paint on top of that.....i opted to use normal primer over the plastic primer - rubbed it down and then used color followed by clear.
