Not technically tech, but thought the ppl in Mitsu section might get a kik. Mods feel free to move if need be
This happened on the Powerlines track @ lithgow, 1st time out 4Bing, but IMO wasn't completely driver error, I thought the spotters picked a bad line but hindsight's 20/20 I suppose...
For the tech, I was quite suprised at how little damage, maybe 4 dents and a busted mirror, no injuries other than stomach cramps cause the driver/passenger's where laughing so hard
We pushed it upright, cranked it without spark plugs a few times, and it went fine. Lost a fair bit of petrol though as u can see in the pics.

Dont think the owner has the net , so I blanked the plates out just in case. Dunno bout the tyres, but the pressures where dropped a bit, about 30psi i think. Not much to say about the car actually, other than I was very suprised at how well it took the roll. But not suprised at how easy it was, looks very very topheavy, and I cant imagine the drivetrain being very heavy so it'd have a high COG. I was worried it wouldn't start, or that the wheels/axles would be bent etc. 1st time i'd seen a roll in real life(unless u count WEROCK)NJ SWB wrote:I'm happy to let it ride. If the owner wants it removed, PM me.
Otherwise, post up with more details of the vehicle - like tyres? Pressures?

If it is the section of track I think it would be easy to roll even if you only get it a little wrong luckily not to much damage hopefully it wont scare him off on 1st time out.known 2 wrote:gota give him credit on taking the van offroad tho i've allways bin curius on how they go in the ruff, by the way has anyone got any pics of tuff mitsu vans or delica's i'v seen one with 33's looked nuts
Bloke in our club has a delica I nearly get see sick just following him it rocks about everywhere but he loves it and gets it in some fairly amazing places even though wheel travel on a shopping trolley is better.
cheers eddy
I don't have any pics as it was a Loooong time ago, but I know of 2 L300 vans that did Wirarba Ridge. Both were from Brisbane Waters Club.known 2 wrote:gota give him credit on taking the van offroad tho i've allways bin curius on how they go in the ruff, by the way has anyone got any pics of tuff mitsu vans or delica's i'v seen one with 33's looked nuts
