Hello i own a 92 Feroza and my starter motor has just gave it in and can't be repaired,a new one will cost me about $300.I am going to do the rounds around the wreckers and i was wondering if any other daihatsu has the same one,so my search is not so limited any help would be appreciated

the applause starter should be the same, they are the same motor so im guessing the same starter.

Thanks there are not many feroza's being wrecked in tassie so they charge a bit.

Hey Gardy, few months back i changed my starter motor it cost me around RM150 (us$40) for a recondition one.
Do you have a feroza ?

Some Charade models (ie. 1.3 and 1.5 ) might be the same?

There are about three different starter motors fitted to Feroza's too. I'm not sure if there are any compatibility issues between them all??
