Going a Turbo
Going a Turbo
hey all just completed the rebuild on the td42, with a little bit of money left over i want to put a turbo on it. i have $2100 left and have access to about another $3000, this money should get me something at least half decent, just need a little bit more power to push the 35's.i was thinking a gu setup with different turbo on it but whats your thoughts.
i just want the best bang for bucks without going to crazy, cheers.

So what did you get for $5000? Not just a standard turbo kit I hope.
Re: Going a Turbo

you can have the following
- custom up top manifold
- roller bearing turbo (disco potato)
- front mount intercooler piping
- all oil line and piping fitted
- 3" dump pipe off the back of the turbo
All you would need to do next would be, airbox snorkle and finish the exhaust.

Mr Ellison? What did you get for $5000? Curosity is killing me!
...
They would have taken his fuel pump out and played (Increase fuel delivery and aneroid as well ??) with it for that price I would imagine. $5k for a Hair Dryer is big $$$$.
