The biggest thing to look for when buying a cordless gun is the overall size.
I spent around $650 on a hitachi, Its a very compact, powerfull gun. Im a heavy duty mechanic by trade and it gets alot of abuse and is holding up very well.
If u want to do anything with it dont buy one of those huge, heavy, under powered super cheap ones. U will use it once find out it is a piece of crap and chuck it, thats if u can get into any where with it in the first place, there HUGE
Mine is a WR14DM
14.4V, 3ah and does 200nm in 3sec.
mine is a few years old, they have a newer one out now that is better again

cordless
Yep I'd get the 12v shentai from arb stores. I did up a lime spreader wheel the other day and then compared it to a air rattle gun which only turned it on less than a 1/8 of a turn more , pretty good for $80 with a 2 year warrenty.
Lockers or Knockers ,both will make for fun.

Just had a look at the specs of the dewalt, Its got some go at 300nm but its 10.75" long with out a socket and 3.5kg that thing wont fit in anywhere, but u will get huge arms using it
Take an ordinary 12" ruler and see how many bolts u can get to
Mine is 7" long and 1.9kg
Trust me it is all about the size, unless u only want it for wheel nuts, but in saying that thats alot of $$ to spend on a wheel nut spinner

After doing some research myself, I decided that the Hitachi was the best for a dedicated impact wrench. But the convenience of a standard chuck in the Panasonic was hard to ignore. Less torque though.....

2ND the opinion on the hitachi elec rattle gun. Couple of mates use them in their workshop, and i have used them when doin odd jobs there. Held up to much use and abuse, and still works great. Works great and much more convenient than air tools when working in confined places or when working away from the workshop.
Layto....
