Knocking noise

Post by cuzza »

When i go on corragated roads or up curbs fast, I get a nocking noise from the front end of my GQ. I have replaced the shocks, coils and radius arm bushes, and was wondering if this knocking noise could be coming from worn swaybar bushes? any ideas of what the noise could be would be greatly appreciated

cheers

I'll second the above, why dont you loosen off the body mount and see if the noise changes. It will only take you 10 min....

remove the swaybars, even if its got nothing to do with the noise you'll be better off for it :)

Thanks guys for your suggestions. When you say body mounts, does that mean that they are cracked and if so, how would i go about fixing these. Also what is a rough price that they would cost to get fixed.

cheers
