zuk jumps 600-700 rpm when headlights are turned on or the fan for the heater is turned on, any thoughts on this? cheers, thanks Ron.

Its meant to do that but not quite that high, it does this to compensate for the extra load the alternator gives.

happens on most cars, the airconds motor is set up the engine and creates mor friction on the rotation. slows down the eeeeennnginnee.

Normal, though most zooks have been around long enough that the system stopped working :D It will jump to allow for extra load on the alternator. Get a mate to turn the lights on and off while you watch the front of the carby, and you will see a vacum put pull a stop onto throttle shaft. To adjust this simply wind the adjustable stop in or out on this system, think normal idle is about 700rpm, and idle up is about 850rpm.

tried this last night adjusted right in no diff still revs is guts out pull vac hose of and is ok looks like elec have another go today cheers ron

just read other post what i was ment to say it does idle at 850 when i turn the lights on 1500 rpm . no ac aswell sorry
