Cutting chassis,How much can you cut

Starting a new Hilux build up and I want to cut the chassis behind the cab(singlecab),Wondering what people have done it and how much they choped,I want this to be engineered,N.S.W

doing the same with a 75... at a guess it will come down the engineer passing the workmanship

from a thread last week, you cant modify a chassis any closer than 200mm to a suspension point.

as far as i know, cant chop the rear of the chas any further forward than the rear diff. ie: has to be above or behind the rear diff

I cut mine up to the spring hanger on the lux and the engineer didn't see a problem with since it was braced much better than any lux came out.

the engineer im using told me that my chassis wasnt allowed to end before the back edge of my tyre, so id say go check with your engineer first and see what he says,

i havnt cut mine, b ut i have moved my diff back, so i left about 50mm or there abouts,
